The Hass Avocado Board (HAB) is scheduling its annual board elections for vacant domestic Hass avocado grower and Hass avocado importer members plus alternate seats.

In early March, an announcement of open seats will be mailed to all eligible producers and importers of Hass avocados. Nominations must be returned by April 6.

HAB will mail voting ballots to producers and importers by April 27 with a May 26 ballot return deadline.

New members and alternates appointed by the USDA Secretary will be seated at the November board meeting.

The Hass Avocado Board promotes the consumption of Hass avocados in the U.S.
