Max Armstrong examines the latest disaster count in America. So far, there have been seven weather disasters since the beginning of the year with 97 lives lost and a cost of $19 billion.

Also, an investigation is underway at a Michigan papermill where a fungal disease keeps it closed after sickening many and killing one man. The mill is undergoing a deep cleaning and the hope an answer can be found as to how the fungal disease is spreading.

Plus, a Louisville is mourning after the loss of Denny Crum. He coached college basketball for over 30 years.

And Delbert Shirley says every year is a change and you have to adapt to those changes. Shirley is a farmer who began in 1941 while working for another farmer. He resides near Washburn, Illinois and says planning and luck has helped him to make it to be 99-year-old.
