Steve Alexander tells us about his recent bout with Pinkeye-- his grandchildren are to blame!

But also, how the Texas watermelon crop is late due to cold temperatures. The watermelon crop is now in early to mid-July but right, consumers can expect a higher price due to a tight supply and demand.

According to the USDA, the top 5 watermelon producing states include Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida and Texas.

Plus, some information recently found-- 79 years since the fighting-- was that Americans fighting in World War II had more advantages than other countries. They had advantages in weapons, food and nutrition. That was all thanks to American farmers.
