Max Armstrong continues his look at historical crop acreage numbers with a focus on cotton and wheat

November 3, 2020

Max Armstrong continues his look at acreage shifts with a look at cotton and wheat. Max digs into stats on cotton acres which were at their lowest in 1983. But back in 1925 there was 44 million acres of cotton in the U.S., in 2020 it's about 9 million acres. For wheat the number of acres has declined and Max shares information on that too.

Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
