Max Armstrong talks about the rain impact on strawberries in California.
January 25, 2023
Max Armstrong says California strawberry farmers have endured up to $200 million in loses from wind, rain and flood damage to the crops. More than 1,800 acres have faced catastrophic loses. Rick Tomlinson, president of the California Strawberry Association, said it's fortunate most farms were dormant when the storms came through. It's a double-edged sword, said Tomlinson, as the rains have helped the drought.
