Max Armstrong discusses the Cattle Price Discovery Act, being driven by a bipartisan group of Senators. The bill would require USDA to establish five to seven regions in the country that reasonably reflect fed cattle purchases. And USDA would have to establish approved pricing mechanisms that packers controlling 5% or more of the fed cattle slaughter would have to make. Max offers more details on the proposal.
