Grain futures are mixed in choppy overnight trade as they try to hold Thursday’s gains. While growers in the eastern Midwest worry about drying conditions, the Gulf Coast is bracing for very heavy rains from Hurricane Harvey, which is already pounding Texas. The eyes of Wall Street are on Jackson Hole, Wyoming, where speeches from Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen and European Central Bank President Mario Draghi could provide clues on interest rate hikes in the year ahead.
