Big soybean sale to China helps crops rebound

Forecasts keep hot weather in Midwest

Soybeans moved higher after USDA said exporters sold 47.8 million bushels of the 2017 U.S. soybean harvest to China. That deal came a day after a Chinese delegation signed agreements in Des Moines to buy a large amount of U.S. soybeans. Such signings are often followed by actual sales.

Corn and wheat traded higher as forecasts keep hot weather in the Midwest through next week.
