“Together Towards Tomorrow” is the theme of the 10th annual meeting of the Western Plant Health Association scheduled for Oct. 2-4 in Scottsdale, Ariz., at the Scottsdale Princess resort.

The business session will include presentations by Ken Bennett, Arizona Secretary of State, on the challenges and opportunities for Arizona agriculture. Robert Orford of the Mayo Clinic will explain the importance of management healthcare initiatives for corporate sustainability and growth. Tom Healy, president, Reach Your Vision, will discuss how corporations must change to recruit and motivate the next generation of employees. Steven Slezak, California State University-San Luis Obispo, will forecast the changing agricultural market trends in the West. During lunch, Jan Brewer, Arizona governor, will explain how Arizona is preparing to meet its future challenges.
