October 29, 2015
Mark your calendars for the University of Wisconsin-Extension's Pest Management Update meetings scheduled for Nov. 9-19 around the state. This year's program follows the new format established in the 2014 series, with more interaction between presenters and the audience, and participation by Bryan Jensen and Dan Heider with the UW Integrated Pest and Crop Management Program.
The morning sessions' topic is integrated pest management updates by crop (corn, soybean, alfalfa, and small grains). This session will be streamlined to focus on new pesticide registrations, pest updates, and highlight important issues from 2015.
UW-Extension Pest Management Update meetings planned

• Herbicide resistance update and identification
• Managing corn rootworms
