Four-time Grammy nominee, five-time ACM and CMT award winner Trace Adkins will perform at the International Agri-Center's Concerts for a Cause Feb. 14, 2012 during World Ag Expo in Tulare, Calif. Proceeds from the concert will benefit agricultural education at  local, state and national levels.

"We're pleased to continue raising money to support agricultural education, not only in our community, but at state and national levels as well," said Jerry Sinift, CEO for the International Agri-Center. "Last year's event was extremely successful--we were able to contribute significantly to many worthwhile causes."

In 2011, the inaugural year for the program, more than $60,000 was raised for the College of the Sequoias, Tulare Center for Agriculture and Technology and a contribution was made to the National FFA to send two future agriculture teachers to the World Food Prize in Iowa.  $20,000 was also contributed to the AgVentures! Learning Center.

This year's concert in the 56,000 square foot indoor entertainment pavilion, will once again benefit the agricultural community.

"We anticipate the growth of Concerts for a Cause from year to year, and will continue to contribute to the agricultural community," added Sinift.

Doors open at 4 p.m. for a pre-party with local country band, Chaparral, followed by Adkins at 6 p.m. Tickets start at $25 for general seating. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.WorldAgExpo.com/Concerts.
