We anticipate the light brown apple moth (LBAM) quarantine in San Diego County will end May 13th. At that time, important changes will take place.

Pre-quarantine program available:

The purpose of a pre-quarantine program is to avoid possible shipment delays, if a quarantine occurs, by having the requirements (compliance agreement, visual inspection and trapping) already in place. Since we already have all requirements met for all known growers, maintaining a pre-quarantine compliance status only requires continued trap servicing.

We will explain the pre-quarantine program, answer questions, discuss the cost of servicing these traps, and sign-up interested growers.
