Biotech: New crop traits coming

The first genetically modified crop contained one gene that enabled growers to control weeds with a non-selective herbicide. Today, scientists are on the brink of providing a number of new traits that could help farmers stabilize or improve yields in adverse climates. Monsanto’s Robb Fraley discussed those in this video from the company’s recent media event in St. Louis.
