Panelist include Loan Hyunh, an immigration attorney with Fredrikson & Byron, P.A.; Todd Erickson, manager, Nelson County Pig Co-op; Manuel Fick, CEO, USA Farm Labor; Pavel “Diesel” Danil, work visa recipient, Nelson County Pig Co-op and Terry Entzminger, dairy farmer, Darrel Entzminger and Sons Dairy. Hear from a panel of livestock producers, from various backgrounds, about their experiences developing new or expanding livestock operations in North Dakota.

What to expect when a pig barn comes to your community. Bob Thaler, South Dakota State University Extension swine specialist. Thaler will share the advantages and challenges experienced by South Dakota county leaders undergoing new livestock development and then will provide a guided, real time live virtual tour of the new swine barn on SDSU’s campus.

North Dakota’s valuable feed resources and where to find them. Karl Hoppe, North Dakota State University Extension beef specialist. North Dakota has a wide variety of high-quality feed resources.
