The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation's Agricultural Division will host a Stocker Cattle Seminar from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at the Kruse Auditorium on the Noble Foundation’s Ardmore campus.
Stocker cattle production continues to be a vital part of agricultural production in southern Oklahoma and north Texas. During the seminar, Noble Foundation consultants will highlight forage system options, stocker cattle nutrition and health, and stocker breakevens and value of gain.
“This seminar has been designed to address the key issues that ultimately affect profitability for producers,” said Deke Alkire, Ph.D., livestock consultant at the Noble Foundation. “We’ll discuss a wide range of topics, providing attendees with information that could potentially impact their own operations.”
There is no registration fee for the Stocker Cattle Seminar. For additional information or to register, call Tracy Cumbie at 580.224.6411 or register online at www.noble.org/agevents.
