Arizona’s youthful grape and wine industries are growing up fast. Wine grape growers like the geographical advantages for grape production, including affordable land and available water.

The area's good soils, plus hot days and cool nights, help nuture the grapes to maturity.

Last year, about 90 percent of the grapes in Arizona wines were Arizona grown.

Arizona wineries produced about 365,000 gallons of wine in 2013.
