Pequea, a family-owned farm equipment manufacturer headquartered in New Holland, Pa., has inked a deal with John Deere to produce Frontier brand rotary rakes, rotary tedders and wood chippers. The equipment is being introduced to dealers this summer and will be available for the 2009 selling season.

The Frontier brand is available exclusively through John Deere dealerships nationwide. Pequea's four-rotor and six-rotor TurboTedders, 9-foot and 11-foot rotary rakes will bolster Frontier's hay tool line up, and add Champion wood chippers to the Frontier offering.

"The Pequea-John Deere agreement is an exciting opportunity to join forces with one of the world's leading ag manufacturers," says Jim Mandes, Pequea's national sales manager. "The John Deere network offers us access to many markets where Pequea equipment was previously unavailable."
