Planters may be rolling, or about to roll, for #Plant22 but here at Farm Progress we've got to think ahead to those fall farm shows. And while planting there matters too, there are other issues in play.

The Around Farm Progress podcast connects with Matt Jungmann, events director, Farm Progress to discuss a little bit of magic. Jungmann and his team put on two of the largest outdoor farm shows in the country just two weeks apart.

So what's happening already? Jungmann discusses the work he's involved in now, teases a little about what he knows is ahead for the big shows. The 2022 Farm Progress Show is slated for Boone, Iowa, Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 this year, and it's the first time the show has been on this site since 2018. That means some big changes to the show layout. While the Farm Progress Show and Husker Harvest Days are both nearly equal in size, there are significant differences in each show. Jungmann breaks that down, and why both shows fill different information, education and exhibitor needs for their respective audiences.

Husker Harvest Days is set for September 13 to 15 this year near Grand Island, Neb. The site was significantly upgraded just a few years ago, and offers a premier location for exhibitors and field demonstrations. Learn more at HuskerHarvestDays.com.

Give it a listen.
