The 47th Annual Conference of the California Irrigation Institute will take place Feb. 3-4, 2009, at the Embassy Suites, Sacramento, Calif.

The keynote speaker during the opening session of the irrigation conference will be Lester Snow, California Department of Water Resources director.

The conference focuses on how to optimize water use and find new water supplies.

The California Irrigation Institute is California's oldest independent forum on water and irrigation.
