A Hop and Barley Field Day is set for Tuesday, July 26.  The event, hosted by MSU Extension Presque Isle County, convene at 9200 Clinton Lake Hwy; Posen, at 10 a.m. and run until 1:30 p.m.

Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the production of hops and barley to support Michigan’s craft brewing industry, view a malting barley variety trial, tour 45th Parallel Hops farm in Hawks, and enjoy lunch sponsored by Farm Bureau Insurance.
