CEO of Farm Credit Services of North Central Wisconsin Announces Retirement

Michael Krutza ends 33 year career with Farm Credit.

The Board of Directors of United FCS, ACA announced that Michael Krutza has decided to retire as President and CEO of Farm Credit Services of North Central Wisconsin, headquartered in Wausau, effective April 12. Farm Credit Services of North Central Wisconsin is a subsidiary of United FCS, ACA.

"Mike has been associated with the Farm Credit System for over 33 years. He has not only provided excellent service to Farm Credit, but has also volunteered his talents to several organizations that assist farmers and rural communities, including serving on the board of the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection and the Rural Economic Development Board," says Mike Copas, Chairman of United FCS, ACA. "We thank Mike for his many years of service to the Farm Credit System and wish him well in his future endeavors."

Marc Knisely, CEO of United FCS, indicated that interim management for Farm Credit Services of North Central Wisconsin will be in place shortly. In addition, Knisely indicated that the Board of United FCS is making good progress in resolving the outstanding integration issues that were publicized in February and things are being worked out.

Knisely said, "the day-to-day operations of United FCS and Farm Credit Service of North Central Wisconsin continue on as normal. United FCS is financially very strong and our employees are dedicated to serving our customers and communities in Wisconsin and Minnesota with the best products and service of any financial service provider."
