Rethinking the box
So there's in-the-box, out-of-the-box and now apparently a-whole-new-box thinking going on out there. At least that's apparent with the new Hustler MDV - for maximum duty vehicle. This utility vehicle, which can be acquired with a traditional box, features the innovative Levelift bed technology. As you can see from the image, the box can extend out and to the ground for easy loading, it can also simply dump its load like a traditional box. But this new design will have farmers rethinking how they use a utility vehicle. Levelift bed technology also enables loads to be dumped at any height or distance along its arc of motion, providing you more options about how, and where, cargo is unloaded. The all-wheel drive MDV runs at a top speed of 37 mph, and is available with a wide range of options and accessories.

Versatile compact wheel loader from John Deere
Compact wheel loaders are versatile machines for many farms, especially for livestock operations moving feed. John Deere is upping its game with the 244K-II and 324K compact wheel loaders. Both machines include new features and options for improved productivity, visibility, versatility and lower daily operating costs for a range of material handling needs, including ag. And unique stereo steering provides a smooth turning radius that's up to 20% tighter than comparable loaders. The 324K compact loader is now available with a high-lift option, which is best suited for ag and landscape applications. With increased reach and height to hinge pin, the 324K high-lift is adept at dumping into feed mixers and stacking higher loads.
New tillage platform offers versatility
Summers is launching the 3RT Platform, which is a 3-point-hitch-mounted platform designed for the farmer looking for a maneuverable, compact unit they can hook up to quickly. There are three configurations which means there is a 3RT to fit any rut, reclamation or spot tillage application. The 3RT 2010 is designed for filling ruts left from heavy farm equipment. Twenty-two-inch dual-mounted, adjustable angle disk blades bring dirt into the rut, while 22-inch five-blade coulter gangs act as levelers. The configuration is adaptable for 90- to 132-inche-wide-center-to-center spacing. The 3RT 2110 and 2210 are simple rugged options for confined areas. The 2110 has a row of concave disk blades for soil mixing followed by a row of coulter gangs for leveling and residue management. With two rows of concave disk blades, the 2210 is a more aggressive tillage tool that offers increased soil movement and mixing.
