The latest model of the Hesston RazorEdge pull-type disk mower by Massey Ferguson is the thinnest cutter bar on the market, with 16-foot and 13-foot center pivot options. The Agco manufacturer put new belt-drive augers at the ends to move the crop quickly to the conditioners, resulting in uniform windrows that dry faster and more evenly. Bale corn silage faster than any round baler on the market with the RB series from Massey Ferguson. With a larger tank for chain oil, a hydroflex floor and new outer shielding, the variable chamber balers come in two models: one that produces a 4-by-5-foot bale ranging from 35.5 to 63 inches in diameter, and a second that makes a 4-by-6-foot bale with a diameter ranging from 35.5 to 71 inches. A standard disk mower from Rozmital is available in two models, the SD-260C and SD-300C. The SD-300C is a 10-foot-wide model with a flail conditioner built for dairy or hay producers or custom operators. This mower has a 10-foot working width. Skids are made with high-quality steel. It’s equipped with either category two or three pins. The SD-300C pictured retails for $21,375. The SD-260C is an 8.5-foot model with the same features, listing at $19,485. The HC7116 Hi-Capacity Rake by H&S Manufacturing Co. Inc. has a new design featuring 60-inch wheels with 18 sets of rubber-mounted teeth for handling tough cornstalks or high-tonnage forage. The 7116 rake is built heavier than the company’s standard high-capacity rakes. Steered off the H&S flex-rate frame, this model has HD, two-rake wheels. Getting every last strand of hay into the windrow while minimizing dirt and rocks is a goal of many farmers. New Holland set out to improve its hay rake with the Rolabar 230 twin-basket rake.
