Pennsylvania’s Center for Dairy Excellence will host five mealtime meetings across Pennsylvania to collect feedback and input on resources to direct the future of the state’s dairy industry. And if you’re involved in the Keystone State’s dairy industry, you’re invited.

Guests will participate in an informal discussion about dairy profitability, and associated topics and programs available through the center to assist dairy farmers. “This is an opportunity for those who support and serve Pennsylvania’s dairy farms to join in a conversation about the current industry dynamics, the challenges we face and opportunities that exist here in Pennsylvania,” says Jayne Sebright, the center’s executive director. “We’ll also share insight on the resources and programs available to help farms work through this period of change.”

Field representatives, nutrition consultants, lending agents and all industry representatives are invited to prepare topics that they would like to discuss, from business planning to dairy policy. Center staff members will be joined by representatives from American Dairy Association North East and Penn State Extension’s Dairy Team. They’ll also be addressing current trends and dairy industry topics.
