The sessions will be similar to the presentations made in the local spring Extension meeting of the past.Staff

The 2021 Delta Ag Expo will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 17 in the Capps Entrepreneurial Center at Delta Research and Extension Center in Stoneville, Miss. The change is due to state and local regulations related to COVID-19 and the number of people allowed at indoor events, and the continuing renovations of the Ag Expo building in Cleveland.

This year's additional change will see the Expo focus solely on educational seminars. These sessions will begin at 8:30 a.m. Current COVID-19 protocols require seating capacity be limited to the first 50 people to register via an internet link that will be provided later. Once the first 50 seats are reserved, participation is limited to joining virtually via Zoom. To obtain the Zoom link, attendees must register at the link provided.

The seminar will be in the format of the local spring producer meetings that Extension has been holding the last few years. Currently, there are no area meetings planned for this winter/spring so you should try to attend this meeting either personally or via zoom.

Here is the agenda:

8:30 a.m. Introduction

8:35 a.m. Soybean Production - Trent lrby

9:10 a.m. Corn Production - Erick Larson

9:45 a.m. Cotton Production - Brian Pieralisi
