The Asgrow brand offers a lineup of new products for 2019 that features 100% exclusive genetics with advanced agronomic traits to promote high-yield potential for soybean growers in Minnesota and the Dakotas.

Tyler Uhe, Asgrow product manager, said this new class has shown an average yield advantage of nearly 2.7 bushels per acre over competitors’ products.

“These new products provide improved standability as well as enhanced white mold and IDC tolerance, with higher yield potential,” Uhe said in a company news release.

New Asgrow Roundup Ready 2 Xtend products developed for Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota include AG09X9 and AG15X9.

Products specifically for Minnesota include AG20X9 and AG21X9.

Products specifically for the Dakotas include AG05X9. AG24X9 is exclusively for South Dakota.

Uhe added that farmers have experienced effective weed control using the Roundup Ready 2 Xtend Crop System with Asgrow Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybeans.

“Ninety-seven percent of farmers nationally say they are satisfied with the control they experienced with the Roundup Ready Xtend Crop System,” he said. “We’ve made a lot of progress this season and heard very positive farmer feedback.”

Nationally, 34 new Asgrow Roundup Ready 2 Xtend soybean products are being introduced for 2019.
