FarmTrade.com, the first and only online exchange for crop protection products, has launched a redesign of their website landing page.

FarmTrade was founded in 1998, under the name XSAg, changing its name to FarmTrade in the summer of 2014. More than 100,000 registered top growers and hundreds of blue-chip sellers buy  and sell more than $1 billion worth of product on the FarmTrade.com online trading platform.

Complete anonymity is guaranteed to both buyers and sellers who use "Name Your Price" to gain the best price possible. FarmTrade is the only buyer-driven trading floor for agricultural chemicals.

“We don't own, distribute or sell products.  Our online trading platform facilitates the exchange. We believe the exchange model is the most efficient way to transact. Being most efficient and having very low overhead allows us to operate with a model that does not charge buyers a fee to join or trade and gives our customers the most competitive prices in the industry,” said Jeff Stow, president of Farm Trade, which is based in Apex, N.C.

“We are the only company in the industry that utilizes an escrow system for all chemical transactions,” Stow said. “The escrow service we provide has great benefits to both the buyers and the sellers. Both parties are protected as we hold transactional funds in our escrow account during the logistics process and for two  full business days after delivery. This assures that our buyers get exactly what they ordered before payment is made to the seller. And for our sellers, it guarantees timely payment.”
