A new postemerge product for corn and soybeans called Ratchet is available from EMD Crop Bioscience. Ratchet is a growth promoter to help increase yields. Last year's field trials demonstrated a 4- to 5-bu./acre advantage with Ratchet in corn and a 1- to 2-bu./acre yield increase in soybeans, according to Chuck Broughton, EMD.
