All U.S. upland and extra-long staple cotton producers are encouraged to participate in the National Cotton Council's survey of 2013 planting intentions.

A questionnaire recently was distributed to upland and extra-long staple producers across the Cotton Belt. Those who did not receive the questionnaire may contact the NCC at [email protected] instructions.

To enhance the survey's accuracy, producers are encouraged to respond by the January 23 deadline.

The survey, conducted each year to aid with U.S. cotton industry planning and policy deliberations, provides the basis for the economic outlook presented to NCC delegates during the organization's annual meeting.

The 2013 outlook and planting intentions survey results will be presented on Saturday morning, Feb. 9.
