Seed companies are already touting new corn hybrids for 2016. But which are the best ones for the Northeast and your farm? To help you narrow down bewildering numbers, American Agriculturist asked companies marketing hybrids in the Northeast to briefly describe their top five new numbers.

With so many entries for so big a market region, that's a tall challenge. Companies were limited to only their top five entries. Some listings identify "brand blends" referring to refuge in the bag hybrids that aren't always the same genetics and will vary from 5% to 10% depending on the trait.
