Don Cameron, a San Joaquin Valley grower and president of the California State Board of Food and Agriculture, will be the featured speaker at a biological summit June 20-21 in Salinas, Calif.

Cameron has been the Vice President and General Manager of Terranova Ranch, Inc. since 1987. Terranova farms encompasses approximately 7,500 acres, in addition to 1,500 acres custom farmed for other clients. Terranova farms has a mix of conventional, organic and biotech field crops. Over 25 different crops are grown on the farm. Don also owns and farms Prado Farms, located in Fresno County.

The 2023 Salinas Biological Summit will be co-hosted by Western Growers and New Zealand-based agrifood tech consultancy, Wharf42. The two-day summit will feature keynote speakers, plenary sessions and targeted panel discussions to help growers deepen their knowledge of globally applied biological solutions.
