Huckabee Will Give Keynote Address at Agri Business Expo

Theme for this year's Agri Business Expo is 'Surviving in a Global Industry'

Fox News Channel host, author and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee will give the keynote address during the Kansas Agri Business Expo on Thursday, November 15 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Wichita. He will speak during breakfast at 8:00 a.m. in the Eagle Ballrooms.

Fresh off the November elections, Governor Huckabee will share his insight and predictions on America's political landscape for the next four years.

"Surviving in a Global Industry" is the theme of the 2012 Kansas Agri Business Expo and will feature additional speakers including Randy Gordon, President of the National Grain and Feed Association; Daren Coppock, President and CEO of the Agricultural Retailers Association; Beau Greenwood, Executive Vice President of CropLife America; and Mike Smith, Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer of AccuWeather Enterprise Solutions.

The 27th annual Kansas Agri Business Expo, held on November 14-15 at the Century II Convention Center, is a jointly-sponsored tradeshow of the Kansas Grain and Feed Association and Kansas Agribusiness Retailers Association and is the largest indoor agribusiness tradeshow in the Midwest.

The show is sold out of exhibit space with 148 grain, feed, equipment and agronomic input companies exhibiting across 95,000 square feet their products and services vital to the agribusiness industry in Kansas.

Founded in 1896, the Topeka-based KGFA is a voluntary non-profit, trade organization providing governmental representation, educational opportunities and a wide variety of other services to the vast and indispensable grain and feed supply chain. KGFA's 900 plus members include country elevators, sub-terminal and terminal elevators, feed manufacturers, flour mills, grain merchandisers and allied industries such as grain exchanges, equipment manufacturers, insurance firms and railroads. KARA is a volunteer organization whose membership includes over 700 agribusiness firms that are primarily retail facilities that supply fertilizers, crop protection chemicals, seed, petroleum products and agronomic expertise to Kansas farmers.
