Nebraska Ag Technology Conference Coming

NeATA group meets Jan. 27-28 in Grand Island.

Make plans now to attend the 10th Annual Nebraska Agricultural Technologies Association conference, Jan. 27-28, 2010, at the Midtown Holiday Inn, Grand Island.

The conference opens Wednesday evening, Jan. 27, with discussions on precision nutrient management and monitoring pivots with computerized controllers.

The second day of the program opens with Sam Tengrove, an Australian farmer and precision agriculture expert, sharing Australian farmers' adoption of precision agriculture.

Twelve concurrent sessions addressing a variety of emerging agricultural technology topics will also be offered on Jan. 28.

Up to eight CCA credits are available for conference participants with an additional six credits available to those who attend the Jan. 27 evening workshop on pivot irrigation management.
