A group of farmers, ranchers, and industry professionals have selected the winners of the 2016 World Ag Expo Top-10 New Products competition.

The winners will be showcased Feb. 9-11 during the 49th annual World Ag Expo in Tulare, Calif.

The winning companies and products include:

Ace Pump Corporation's Gemini Dual Pump Kit: Allows a user to independently operate two Ace Pumps from a single hydraulic supply manually or with a pulse width modulated control signal. It allows operators to quickly and easily dial in separate application rates for liquid fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other crop inputs.

The kit can apply two liquids at different precision rates, effectively reducing trips through the field, fuel costs, and compaction.

Ace Pump’s booth will be located in Building C at World Ag Expo.

AGCO’s Hesston-Built WR9800 Series RearSteer: Swathing and changing from one field to the next is slow, sometimes unstable, and inefficient. AGCO has the answer – the Hesston by Massey Ferguson WR9800 Series RearSteer option.

The RearSteer option allows a windrower to perform normally in a field, yet during transport it transforms the machine into a combine- or self-propelled forage harvester-style steering. Due to the the steering function from the front to the rear wheels, the new self-propelled windrower with the RearSteer option has increased gradability, and makes for easier, faster transport, and better stability, even at higher speeds.

ANC Technology’s Intelligent Wireless Irrigation Control System: A new type of moisture sensor-based, solar-powered, wireless irrigation control system which will change the way irrigation is done in the foreseeable future.

ANC Technology will unveil the new system  in Pavilion A in Booth 2004.

Coldwell Solar, Inc.’s MegaWash: Want to reduce water usage and labor time when cleaning your solar panels? The new MegaWash mobile tractor system advances in parallel with each row of solar panels, steadily auto-adjusting its precision-controlled hydraulic boom gently onto each panel’s surface, and it requires only 800 gallons of de-ionized water per 1MW DC solar system.

This equals 80 percent less water used for the removal of soiling from solar panel surfaces when compared to traditional washing. With MegaWash, a single machine and technician can cover an entire 1MW DC installation in less than 4 hours versus 16 hours with a traditional two-person team.

Jacto, Inc.’s Jacto PJB-16 Battery-Operated Backpack Sprayer: The sprayer is a product with precision engineering and professional grade components made with farmers, nursery owners, and pest control operators in mind.

Jacto’s newest backpack includes five pressure settings, hydraulic agitation, built-in controller diagnostics, a walking pace indicator, and comes equipped with soft, padded shoulder straps, a lightweight lithium ion battery, a heavy-duty trigger valve, and a stainless steel wand with four nozzle attachments.

The lightweight lithium ion battery has an exceptional battery life and can allow the user to spray all day. The backpack sprayer is ideal for spot spraying or larger applications.

LiftGator’s LiftGator XTR: LiftGator's new LiftGator XTR liftgate system provides a simple solution and alternative to a permanent liftgate. It is designed to lift up to 1,200 lbs. and can be easily attached to any truck in less than three minutes.

The LiftGator is rolled up to the back of the truck and slid into the hitch receiver. Stabilizers drop to the ground to support the gate and the large 48" aluminum platform unfolds. The platform is raised and lowered with the push of a button, safely and easily lifting the heaviest of loads. Trucks can be driven with the LiftGator attached for any length of time.

Orchard Machinery Corporation’s Fully Automated Shaker Technology Tree Seeker: The Tree Seeker from OMC is a fully-automated machine which locates trees with a

“seeing” eye. It communicates to the machine the x and y coordinates and the tree diameter, steers and stops the machine in the correct location, extends the head and shakes the tree, and repeats the process for the next tree.

An operator turns the machine around at the end of the rows. The parameters are consistent for every tree so a uniform shake is provided across the field. Machine longevity can increase since the operator cannot use the machine incorrectly.

Red Fox Safety Products’ Fox-Paws: Features wireless technology to immediately stop engines or motors powering equipment with the touch of a transmitter button. On mobile equipment or vehicles, the Fox-Paws receiver unit is wired into the ignition circuit of the diesel or gas engine or the start-stop station of an electrical motor.

The equipment operator has a transmitter on their belt or shirt pocket. If a problem arises, the operator can push the transmitter button - shutting off the engine or motor powering the equipment. It can also be configured to stop multiple pieces of equipment or vehicles at the same time.

Tule Technologies’ Tule: A product that could dramatically change the way growers irrigate and manage their fields, especially on larger operations. Farmers can more easily prioritize resources and minimize production threats with Tule Technologies’ new 24/7 automated irrigation advisor. Tule measures actual evapotranspiration in the field to power simple, actionable, and more accurate irrigation decisions.

Tule helps anticipate yield and quality threats by remotely monitoring crop water status. Daily data is collected remotely and presented to growers on an easy-to-use mobile app and desktop dashboard. Growers can review the results to prioritize which fields are water-stressed, allowing the ability to manage more acres with reduced time and labor.

Stanley Convergent Security Solutions’ Videofied AG Alarm System: The outdoor instant motion viewer system is a combination motion detector with a built-in video camera. It works anywhere with a cellular transmission signal. Once an intruder trips the Motion Viewer, the system transmits both a standard alarm signal followed by a 10-second video clip of the event to Stanley Security's professional monitoring station.

The operator immediately reviews the incident and provides a priority dispatch response to law enforcement. The system will also notify the property owner’s smartphone. It can protect remote assets including irrigation systems, farm equipment and machinery, crops, livestock, storage sheds, and construction sites.
