HIGH-CAPACITY SPRAYER: The T-Series Prowler boasts one of the highest-capacity spray systems in the industry — 1,800 gallons — and the largest spreader body with 12 tons capacity. Switch between applications in only 30 minutes. Whether you go with the 325 or 380, the fuel-efficient 4WS mechanical-driven chassis can get you through any season. With its wide range of configurations, the Prowler can fit any grower or fertilizer dealer’s unique needs. FERTILIZER ADDITIVE: Carovail’s Complete Finisher is a ready-to-use fertilizer that’s ideal for foliar applications. It’s compatible with fungicides, herbicides and drip irrigation, and it can be mixed and sprayed in one application. It supports top yields, improves environmental stress tolerance, increases availability of most micronutrients, builds soil microbial populations, improves seedling growth and promotes healthier seedlings. It is formulated with premium raw materials and patented chelated micronutrients. For more information, contact Jason Botsford of Carovail in Auburn, N.Y., at email@example.com, or call 315-253-7379.
ELECTRONIC DEPTH ADJUSTMENT: Precision Planting’s SmartDepth is an electric motor that replaces the manual depth adjustment of row units. From the cab, with information relayed to the 20-20 monitor, growers can adjust planting depth and calibrate depth across the planter. When paired with SmartFirmer, moisture-based control of seeding depth can occur. The planter operator can make inputs in the cab on the 20-20 display of a minimum depth and maximum depth, as well as a moisture target, and the planter will automatically adjust the depth it is planting between the minimum and the maximum depth while maintaining the soil moisture target. SENSOR-BASED FURROW CLOSER: The FurrowForce closing system utilizes a sensor that measures downforce on the closing wheels and relays feedback to the 20-20 SeedSense monitor in the cab, letting farmers make adjustments to the down pressure in the cab. FurrowForce uses two stages to both close the furrow and manage soil density. First-stage pinch wheels are set wider than traditional systems and move soil horizontally to remove air gaps. The second-stage stitch wheels create the proper soil density for moisture retention and quicker germination. These stitch wheels have a load cell that measures the weight carried on them. When there’s weight on the stitch wheels, it ensures that the first-stage pinch wheels are cutting into the soil at proper depth. A control valve on each row pairs with the load cell to change the force applied to FurrowForce to maintain consistent soil firming across the planter. HEAVY-DUTY BOOTS: Tough conditions call for a tough boot. The Haymaker Gusset from Dryshod USA is available for men and women. The 17-inch boots come with an adjustable gusset to help fit any size. Men’s boots are $154.95, and women’s boots are $149.95. Contact Josh Lincoln at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 607-651-9078. Visit dryshodusa.com to learn more.
WIDE SPRAYING DRONE: The DJI Agras T-16 has an improved overall structure with modular design and supports the highest payload and widest spray width ever in a DJI ag drone. The T-16’s upgraded radar system can sense the operating environment during the day or night without being affected by light or dust. It has greatly improved flight safety with forward and backward obstacle avoidance and a horizontal field of view of 100 degrees, double that of previous DJI drones. It can also detect the angle of a slope and adjust to it automatically, even in mountainous terrain. This innovate radar system adopts digital beam forming technology, which supports 3D point cloud imaging that effectively senses the environment and helps to circumvent obstacles.
