Thirty years ago, Robb Fraley and a team of scientists at Monsanto grew the first crop to have a gene inserted from another organism. Fraley, now Monsanto’s chief technology officer, is just as excited about biotechnology and its potential today as he was back then as shown in this video of remarks to a group of ag journalists at a recent media event.
