Claas of Germany's ‘Green Monster’ tractor will face the United States tractors on the pulling track during the 2006 West Coast Nationals Power Pulling Series in February. The European champion power pulling tractor will compete for the first time on United States soil.

The 2006 West Coast Nationals Series (WCN) was to begin Feb. 4 at the Elks Rodeo Grounds in Santa Maria, Calif., followed by another challenge at the Bakersfield Fairgrounds, Feb. 11, in Bakersfield, Calif.

The final two nights of the 2006 Series will be held in conjunction with the World Ag Expo in Tulare, Calif., Feb. 14-15 at the Tulare County Fairgrounds. The series champions will be named on Wednesday night.

“We are very excited about the competition this year,” said West Coast Nationals Series liaison, Rob Fletcher. “Having the Claas Green Monster in our series is going to really add to the competition, and make for an awesome, unpredictable year!”

General admission is $10 per person, with limited Pit Passes available at $10 also.
