ALL-NIGHTER: America's farmers and ranchers work into the night to produce food for consumers. Now Firestone Ag is shedding light on their hard work. A new social media campaign asks farmers to share what drives them daily. Winners will get $2,500.

Firestone Ag wants farmers and ranchers to share what drives them to work hard daily.

Firestone Ag, a business of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (Bridgestone), announces a social contest designed to celebrate the work of farmers. The "What Drives You?" social contest is an extension of the Firestone Ag Farm Hard brand campaign that launched earlier this year, which applauds the farmers who push through challenges to get a job done.

"We want to celebrate the people who are committed to farming hard, and work tirelessly to grow agricultural products that we all depend on," says Cindy Ridge, brand manager, Firestone Ag, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations.

To enter the social contest, participants need to submit a video on the contest home page, farmhard.com. Submissions must be received by Aug. 31. Beginning Oct. 1, the public will help choose two of the four winners via online voting. All four contest winners will receive a $2,500 voucher for Firestone Ag products.

"Firestone has a long history in agriculture that dates back more than 85 years," Ridge says. "We are proud of our heritage, and we continue to build on our longstanding commitment to farmers to provide them with dependable products they can count on to keep them up and running. Through this contest, our hope is that we can shine a spotlight on farmers, and recognize them for being some of the hardest-working people in the country."
