The Equipment Dealers Foundation, the charitable organization of the Equipment Dealers Association, has selected 10 women and men to receive their annual scholarship for the 2018-19 academic year. The objective of EDF’s scholarship program is to support the education, training and further development of current and potential employees in the equipment industry.
Recipients of the funds are sponsored by dealerships throughout the United States and Canada. This year the EDA will be awarding a total of $20,000 including the funds matched for students by each sponsoring dealership.
“We are proud to award scholarships to these 10 deserving candidates to aid in furthering their education,” said Tom Nobbe, Chairman of the EDF Board. “As a foundation, we strive to develop the workforce and give students valuable opportunities that encourages their learning and future success in the industry.”
Scholarships were awarded for a wide range of educational opportunities including technical training and four-year degrees to the following students:

Kelvin Nichols, Butler Machinery Company (Sioux Falls, SD)
Preston Salvador, 21st Century Equipment LLC (Sterling, CO)
Shane DeWit, Town & Country Implement (Rock Valley, IA)
Sterling Holland, Butler Machinery Company (Rapid City, SD)
Tannah Terry, Terry implement Company Inc. (Gallatin, MO)
