MORNING Midwest Digest, August 23, 2018

Max Armstrong talks about immigration in the news, ethanol in China, a broadcasting birthday and NASCAR at Farm Progress Show.

Iowa farmer and former Farm Bureau president said now is not the time to discuss immigration. Craig Lang employed the man who killed Iowa woman Mollie Tibbetts.

While corn farmers want to see greater steps to expand ethanol usage, the Chinese government is saying they definitely will promote the usage of biofuels there.

Sixty years ago today, KMAQ radio in Maquoketa, Iowa, started broadcasting. Happy broadcasting birthday!

Max will have a ride with a NASCAR driver next Thursday at the Farm Progress Show.
