Max Armstrong reports on the rise of avian influenza, which appeared in January. The virus has been identified in waterfowl from Maine to Florida. Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza has infected flocks in a range of Eastern U.S. areas. Max shares how the disease is being spread. The disease is accelerating quickly and may bring historic levels of infection. A USDA spokesperson notes that avian influenza is not a food safety risk.
