24 college students receive farm show scholarships

Each student was awarded $3,500 from the Pennsylvania Farm Show Scholarship Foundation.

24 college students received awards from the Pennsylvania Farm Show Scholarship Foundation

The Pennsylvania Farm Show Scholarship Foundation presented 24 college students with scholarships totaling $84,000 on Jan. 7 at the 104th Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg.

This year’s recipients were awarded $3,500 each. Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Delaware Valley University awarded an additional $2,000 to their students for receiving the award.

  • Erin Comp, Duncannon, Perry County

  • Cailey Dahlquist, Washington, Washington County

  • Hayden Demniak, Carmichaels, Greene County

  • Kayla Kimble, Howard, Centre County

  • Lae’la Kirk, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County

  • Wyatt Kosa, Ulysses, Potter County

  • Austin Kreiser, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County

  • Caitlyn McConn, West Alexander, Washington County

  • Addison Neff, Harrisburg, Dauphin County

  • Tyler Peterson- Tunkhannock, Wyoming County

  • Daniel Rohrbaugh- Seven Valleys, York County

  • Grace Romesberg- Berlin, Somerset County

  • Madison Shaw- Harrisburg, Dauphin County

  • Kimberlee Shoemaker- Smicksburg, Indiana County

  • Katie Shultz- James Creek, Huntingdon County

  • Hailey Siba- Masontown, Fayette County

  • Emily Supancik- New Milford, Susquehanna County

  • Haley Sweitzer- Wellsville, York County

  • Macy Walason- Alum Bank, Bedford County

  • Leah Welk- Strasburg, Lancaster County

Since its start in 1993, the Pennsylvania Farm Show Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $1.6 million in scholarships to 552 junior farm show exhibitors.
