At Agritechnica, Krone introduced an industry first — a round baler that will make and net a bale in 40 sec. without stopping. The Ultima baler will produce 90 bales an hour. The Ultima won a gold medal in the Agritechnica 2011 innovation awards contest. It was one of only two products winning a gold medal at the show with 2,700 exhibitors. The price estimate of the baler is $170,000.
