Max Armstrong tells listeners that farm families across the globe have a common denominator: Nice people who care!
He says everywhere he travels, he finds kind farmers and they worry about other farmers across the globe when there is a calamity or disaster.
Max Armstrong says there are an abundance of stories in his latest book, "More Stories from the Heartland," he details the ties agriculture professionals and their kindness.
He goes on to tell us about two people who had a chance meeting on a bus in Pittsburgh, Pa. and how they had certain things in common even though they had worked in Chicago for years-- it was that they both personally knew Max Armstrong.
Max Armstrong's Farm Progress America is a daily look at key issues in agriculture. It is produced and presented by Max Armstrong, veteran farm broadcaster and host of This Week in Agribusiness.
