Hillsboro is adding a new model to its open car-multipurpose HD trailer series. Available in 20-, 22- and 24-foot lengths, the HD Series is outfitted with 5,200-pound axles, boosting capacity. The trailers feature tube cross members for higher torsional stiffness, real stabilizer jacks for each rear corner, all-aluminum construction, and HD aluminum ramps rated at 2,500 pounds each. RETHINKING IMPLEMENT AXLES

Rina, a European axle maker, is launching the Teknoax 2.0, which the company calls an intelligent axle for agricultural trailers. The new axles will alert the user when maintenance is needed by monitoring performance and working conditions. The axles also include an inflation-deflation system for implement tires to better match working conditions and enhance tire life.
