Watch Part 1: Hearing positive things about cotton

Cotton producers have to deal with a lot of pests as they go through the growing season. Among the most insidious are nematodes, microscopic organisms that invade plant roots and remove nutrients from the root cells. In 2011, cotton growers along with producers of corn and soybeans are expected to have a new Biocontrol product that offers a mechanism for protecting roots from the pests. Bayer CropScience’s Paul Hewitt discussed the new product – VOTiVO – at a media briefing at the Beltwide Cotton Conferences.
