The number of formulations of glyphosate have been growing by leaps and bounds in recent years, but growers have only had one supplier of the glyphosate-resistance trait. That is expected to change in 2010 when Bayer CropScience introduces its new GlyTol cotton trait. Paul Callahan, global cotton traits lead for the company, discussed the introduction at a briefing at the Beltwide Cotton Conferences.
