Louisiana corn farmers are preparing to harvest what could be another record yield.

The state's 2013 crop is drying down and ready for harvest, says Ronnie Levy, LSU AgCenter corn specialist.

Large ears signal a bumper crop and a yield that could surpass last year's record 170 bushels per acre. Some early yields have been as high as the 200s.
