An Organic Grain Field Day will be held Tuesday, July 30 at the Cherry Research Farm, located at 201 Stevens Mill Road in Goldsboro, N.C.
The meeting begins with registration at 10 a.m. and will include field tours and lunch ($10 registration fee includes lunch).
Join us for a tour of the organic grain research in North Carolina. We will discuss no-till/roll-kill cover crop systems and see organic soybean and corn official variety trials (OVT). We will visit an organic weed management demonstration and discuss stevia and sorghum production as alternative crops in organic rotations.
