Delta Farm Press is pleased to announce that Brad Robb, Collierville, Tenn., has joined the editorial team as a staff writer.

“We are excited to have someone with Brad’s wide-ranging experience and strong ties to Delta agriculture on our staff,” says Ron Smith, Delta Farm Press editor and Senior Content Director for the Farm Press Group.

Brad is well known throughout the region for both his work with the Cotton Board and more recently with his own communications company, serving clients in the Mid-South and Southeast.

“Brad’s 30 year-career in communications and his vast network of sources, including farmers, researchers, consultants, and Extension specialists, will add to our talented team of writers and editors,” Smith said. “We look forward to Brad’s contributions to Delta Farm Press’ mission of providing timely, reliable information to the Delta agriculture industry.

“I am deeply honored and beyond excited to be working at Delta Farm Press,” Robb said. “After being in agriculture for over 20 years, I understand the importance farmers across the five Mid-South states place on what many of them consider the standard for agricultural publications. During my recent conversation with a Tennessee farmer, he remarked, ‘I have two things on my bedside table, the Bible and the latest issue of Delta Farm Press.’ That speaks volumes, and I am going to use my energy and experience to continue the Delta Farm Press tradition of bringing growers across the Mid-South agricultural news and information that helps them remain successful and their operations profitable.”

Brad has Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Journalism (with a concentration in Corporate Public Relations) and Criminal Justice (with a concentration in investigation) from University of Memphis.

Robb will work from his home in Collierville.
